Not to rub it in... but it is supposed to get to around 90 degrees today and I spent the day photographing one of the most spectacular wildflower seasons in years.

My problem was a cholla cactus I sat in and had to pry the barbed spines out of my butt with my car keys. It was difficult and it was painful. LOL!

ROFL (was going to finish it, but decided not to in honor of your 'delicate' condition). It's not quite that warm here in Colorado today - but it did get into the 70's and was an absolutely gorgeous day.... However, looks like we are in for snowing and blowing again tomorrow -- and I KNOW there will be plenty of weird drivers on the roads. It's spring break and everyone's headed for the ski slopes. What ice and snow on the roads????? That's just there for show right? And isn't it true that a jeep (or landrover, or fill in the blank SUV can go anywhere???? -- go yes -- stop no!!).

Be careful out there folks!! "The other driver" is usually a maniac.

Got this today in one of my daily joke mails:

Received from: Lorraine

I was out on police patrol on a miserable February night in Philadelphia, Pa. and the streets were extremely slippery because of the freezing rain. As I approached the middle of the overpass that crosses the highway, I saw a station wagon in my lane, stopped on the downward slope. Because of the oncoming traffic I was unable to drive around the parked vehicle, and as I applied my brakes, the police car seemed to accelerate on the icy surface. I rammed into the back of the wagon, setting it in motion down the hill. It slid right through a red light and over a curb and into a parking lot. I drove down and parked behind the wagon. As I approached, a young lady rolled down the driver's window and exclaimed: "Thank God you're here, officer! Somebody just ran into me!"
