I'm in the market for something to use as protection for a new Nikon 85mm 1.8 lens. The primary role would be for protection from the elements. I think the photographer will be using the lens a lot at the beach.....but it will probably be a lens he leaves on the D70 most of the time in general too. Should I just get a UV glass 37C? How about a regular $15 62mm UV Protector Filter - Glass? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

Get a multi coated filter. They cost a lttle more, but are well worth the extra. U/V, Haze or clear will work.
