Tired of carrying around bulky photograhic equipment? Not enough space left in your camera bag for a camera? Your worries are over with the all new Nikon Helicarrier. But wait there's more...
Well actually there isn't more. What more would you want?
I saw this at a recent show & couldn't resist getting a photograph of it.

Now if that isn't justification for a bag full of VR glass I don't know what is!

Wow -- sign me up!
Second thought, considering my "skills" with my radio-controlled airplane, perhaps I really wouldn't like to see my D100 stuck 30' up in a tree :) |

Here's one in action.
Edit: and here.
Good to see they load 'em up with Nikon's. Wouldn't want to go wasting a perfectly good Canon if you had an accident now would you? ; )

I dont understand how this thing works?
Can someone explain it to me, is there some sort of remote capture software that allows you to see what the camera is focusing on? |

When you use Nikon Capture Camera Control with a wireless card or a wireless remote control in your hand, you can remote control it. There is no way to preview the scene but when you know what the camera can see for the setting of your lens it might yield some interesting stuff.
