Does anyone have any experience with getting slides made from digital images? I could dig through online listings, but I thought someone might have done business with some company that they would recommend (or avoid).
Thanks!

Probably not much help, as I'm on the other side of the planet, but I've had good experiences with a local firm here in NZ. They use a machine made by Fujifilm..
The only problem I had was with file formats. It would only accept a 6000x4000 pixel 16 bit tiff. Although I think they've updated the software on it now to do jpeg...
The other comment I would make is that it isn't cheap. I did it for a customer who wanted digitally edited images to project for advertising work, so it was all paid for. I dont think I'd do it myself.. $26 NZ a slide in low volume, so given exchange rate and larger market in the states I'd suspect around $10US a slide? Dunno, might be cheaper...
Cheers, Me.

| Cantoo in Berkeley can do it. There are quite a few other places as well. If you run a search of the forums you should find several other threads on the subject. |
