The last few days I have had trouble getting booted off DPC when I click on a link within a thread. Before my browser opened a new window and I kept DPC in the original. Now on some (all?) it opens the link and closes the DPC window and offers no Back button to even go back. I have to shut the browser (IE) and open to DPC again. Stange as I have no idea why all of a sudden.
Any ideas?
edit: BTW - it is happening on both of my computers. Just happened on "Portrait of my girl" thread.

Try holding doen control key when clicking the link. Try right-clicking the link and choosing "open in new window". Check browser preferences and enable "open links in new window". Any or all should work. depending on browser. It would help if we knew what browser you use.

| Its working as normal for me. Try clearing out your browser cache, particularly if you use IE. I know when my cache gets too full, it can do weird things, like I can't view the source for a page, or I have trouble trying to right click on a picture and save it. I've never seen the behavior you describe, but who knows... |

| Bingo - thanks Scott. I'm using IE and when I cleared the temp files it now works fine. |

| bear_music - thanks to you also. I knew about those options but it in the past my preferences opened in a new window. Clearing things worked fine. |
