What sort of books are you looking to make? I am also thinking of putting together some small handmade books including some of my photographs. So maybe I can help out with a couple of suppliers...

Here's a link to J. Hewitt & Sons in Edinburgh. You can get tools and materials from them. They are tanners and leather suppliers, mostly for bookbinding. //www.hewit.com/

Another good resource is The Paper Shed from where you can obtain some wonderful handmade paper. //www.papershed.com

As with any mounting exercise, just make sure you get good acid-free paper so your photographs stay in good condition, the last thing you want is some nasty chemicals attaching your work!

I know there's a way to transfer photos to different kinds of paper..I just don't know it. If you put together a hand made portfolio like that it'd be awesome. Actually you've given me inspiration!

From the title of the thread I thought you all were talking about gambling.
