Forgot there was already "dreams and nightmare". That was right about the time I joined. But I think it would be still cool to repeat! |

Mine weren't refections. I have a friend who filmed himself playing guitar and when he went to watch it there were orbs flying all around him. I've seen the video and tried to reason it out, but it is darn freaky!

As to whether I believe--I don't. I figure when I die, the only afterlife will be those left behind.
But then I don't like planning vacations in advance either. ;) |

Ouija Boards? Nothing more than the ideomotor effect. I would wager money that the staunchest believer/user in the Ouija Board phenomenon couldn't pass a controlled, double-blind experiment with better results than statistical chance. |

I'm a Christian, I believe in Heaven and Hell, two very real places. |

Oh, yeah, almost forgot. No afterlife. What's wrong with the one you got right now? |

While it would be nice to avoid making this a religion thread, the subject is kinda tied in there, don't ya think?
having been tormented, i mean raised caltholic, and giving things some thought, I believe that one's "entity" comes back more advanced. This repeats and the "entity" moves on to a higher plain. Ghosties are those that are dead but not yet reborn (the religious equivalent of pergatory). If you have learned what you were here to learn, you move up, if not you repeat the life you had (aka hell). Prophets and saviours are just very advanced "entities". When you have learned what it is you need, you die.
Either that, or life on earth is just a petrie dish of DNA experimentation by aliens. It explains alot too.

I didn't bring religion into this. It's a straight forward question. When I was little I was told that heaven was in the sky and hell was down below. I just want to know if that is still true or if they have been moved.

Hell is often referred to as being hot. Nope. It is cold. What would be more uncormfortable - being too warm or too cold all the time?
Hell = work
Heaven = home
or have i got that confused with film and digital? or Mac and PC?

If there is a hell, then it's different for each person - whatever we hate most.
For ME, hell would be hot and humid, full of rude people, bad drivers and celery. |

I just thought my life was hell, now I know it is.
Yep, that's where I work...an all you can eat steak buffet.

My opinion: There is no hell. There is only the heaven you make for yourself before you die. |

I'm a Christian, believe in Heaven and Hell, and would much prefer the former to the latter.
I've experienced too much truth in what I have, and have seen too little proof (actually, none) in anything else to believe differently than what I find in the Bible.
