Originally posted by scuds: I have only one charger for my sets of batteries, the one that came with the camera (sony one). From the 3 sets I have, only the one that came with the camera (it's a NH-AA-DA HR15/51 1.2V typ.2100mAh).
Then I bought a set of 2600mAh (PANASONIC), and 2 days ago I bought my 3rd set, 2800mAh (SONY), exactly the same as the original one I have, but with higher amperage.
The thing is, only the original set seems to get a full charge, cz it's the only one that lasts long enough (3 hours+-). The other 2 sets, with higher amperage, last only half of the time the 2100 one does, even less.
My first thought was that both sets were under memory effect, but both of them had no charge on it at all (tested on the camera and it wouldn't turn on). They both got charged for the same amount of time as the 2100 set, and that still doesn't do any good. The newer set only last 25 minutes yesterday!!!! That's ridiculous.
Can it be the charger? Should I get a 2nd one?
I'm getting very angry with these batteries....... |
Since the second new set of batteries you bought (the 2800s) is from the same company as the original batteries and the charger, Sony, I would think that your first inquiry should be to them. Read all the materials that came with them, manuals etc. to find what you can about compatibility. Then give Sony technical support a call.
