Share your best technique for turning your landscape photos (or others) into Ansel Adams' style. Here's one:
1. Open your image in Photoshop (I'm using CS, your mileage may vary)
2. Image menu --> Adjustments --> Channel Mixer
3. Check the "monochrome" checkbox at the bottom of the dialog.
4. Set the sliders as follows:
Red: 160
Green: 140
Blue: -200
Note that the blue slider is set to a negative value
That's it. You can play with the sliders to different settings but make sure the total is always 100%.
For an image with clouds in a blue sky, the result can be quite striking.

Image Google 'Ansel Adams', right click, 'Save image as', start PS, open image, flip horizontally, resize, save as 'While walking the dog this morning.jpg', submit. Hide. Change name, grow/shave beard (ladies too), sell camera, start new hobby. |

You forgot:
Clone in a jet in the sky. That will make it modern and no one will question it.
