I know I probably messed up the image title for the challenge from some comments received, but couldn't resist entering the image as these are probably my best efforts at sunset shots to date. What do you think? Should I have entered any of the others and what title would you have given?
Challenge entry:
Av = 6.2, 22/145
OR:

Also just put together my first website, any feedback/suggestions/improvements would be great.
Thanks for your time....
Nordic
PS - for the purple version:shot in raw and adjusted selective colour saturations

I love the purple one. Just something about that colour in a sunset, no matter how it was achieved.

Wow! That purple one is fantastic!! The last one is great too. But the purple is definitely my favourite. |

I like purple more because of color and b&w more because of compozition. |

I think that when the windmill is faced away from the viewer it will work better if it has some space in front of it. Besides that, most windmills look better with some space in front of them. That's not the case with your entry and the second outtake, the space behind the windmill does nothing for the windmill (the main subject) itself.
It works better in the first and third outtake.
The color of the 2nd outtake looks best to me.
My favourite is the B&W version. Wings facing toward the viewer, good detail, nice horizon line, interesting sky and a 2nd interesting element to fill the space at the right and to give some relevance to the scale.
