is it true that you can only use the sandisk ultra II for the canon rebel? if its not true, what are other good compact flash cards?

Cameras with more megapixels should be used with the faster cards.

No any CF card will do, especilay as the Rebel is kind of slow to clear the buffer, you dont get the full benefits of a screaming fast card anyway. I have a 4gig micro drive that is so slow that i think it may carve in wax bit by bit, works as fast as I usually shoot. I think the
Rebel is older than the Ultra II anyway so they didn't design the
reble around it. I use Hatachi, PNY, Simpletech, and the Ultra II. The Scandisk is a tiny bit faster, but all work. |

yeah the write speed on the rebel is not very fast. save some bucks and buy the standard cards. Now the 20D can take advantage of the newer card speeds.

The rebel writing speed is indeed not very fast and the ordinary card will do. But my question, what about when I have to download... isn't the compact 111 for example then faster to download than for example an ordinary, older card?
