For this week's challenge I took a photo of absolute strangers, from afar, using the zoom, obtaining a candid instant. To my surprise, the resulting commentaries I'm receiving mention that it looks "staged" and the image is not perfect.

Don't you all desperately wish you could let them know the efforts taken to come up with your shot?

(Just looking for a cathartic discussion)

I know just how u feel. I am really getting sick of getting negative comments even though my pictures dont do so bad. People here love to dissect photos finding terribly minute details that will lower the quality of the shot. Comments like you should have avoided the power lines or I dont like to see people from behind. People dont realize that there is no such thing as a perfect shot. With that in mind you either block out all negative comments an take in constructive criticism and positive comments only, or look for another site to post your work in. I will wait and see just how much longer can I hang on.
