one of the things I love about this site is that everything is cross linked. One area place where I think they could be added is when there is a repeat challenge theme like Bridges II or Road Signs revisited.
I suggest you add links to the original challenges (several if it is a third or fourth time around)

This just made me remember something I wanted to suggest regarding cross-linking.
An automotive site I belong to has an image library we can upload pics to and in the detail view of each picture, is a hypertext link of each forum post that picture was ever used in.
Just a database improvement idea.

| this is one of best coordinated websites Ive ever seen. I think that is a great Idea by dsa, but unneccassary. I think the challenge archive is easy to manage and past challenges are easy to gain access to. I think more topics should be revisited more than others. For instance, why have a passing time challenge when we just had a self portrait. Now if someone missed the bridges challenge, they would have to wait 2 years for the next one. Landscape challenges for example , should be given out at least 2 -3 times a year. Macro's, Water, all of the main one's. |
