I'm sitting here thinking ugh...winter - hate winter, is it summer yet? Spring, I'll take spring...is it here yet?

Anyway - I was going through some photos and saw this one I took about 6 weeks ago and figured I'd submit it for critique - shudder - because it does show the beauty of winter, even though I wish it were summer already. Sigh.

I love the tones in the sky, did that take much PS work with burning and such. That is something I definately have to practice at, so it is nice to be able to refer to good examples like this. Very nice shot.

I like this photo alot the colors are very pleasing. Winter has alot of cool opportunities if you can stand being out in the cold. Check out my horse and sleigh in the light and white challenge.

Stephanie, that's a Very Nice Shot except for the wildly blown-out hot spot in the sky. Is there any detail there on the original? If there is, i can help show you how to "fix" that portion if you're not able to yourself...

Actually, no, there is no definition in that spot in the original, unfortunately. I appreciate the offer for assistance though. I can always clone it out I suppose, never thought of it doing it though. Thanks.

Tim - I saw your photo, it's very nice. Good job.

Thanks radiman, the burning isn't that difficult. Just knowing when to stop. It's easy to go to far.
