The other day while walking around I came across this old basketball court with a tennis ball and tether-ball thing in it. I thought it was an interesting subject but I couldn't really find a good angle to photograph it.

IMO the fist one has the best composition. It shows Isolation and separation between the tennis ball and the other items on the court. The POV you chose in the first picture gives the viewer an array of emotional paths to go down making it a very attractive picture. On the other hand the second picture with the tilt and distance between the camera and subject does not connect me as the viewer to the photograph. Just my opinions. Hope it helped. BTW Good Work with #1 picture.
