As I mentioned in a previous thread, My trip to Georgia and Florida was not the VACATION I expected or hoped it to be - but I did manage a few pics - here they are.

Stephanie- I get a kick out of landscape 56. Looks like high ground for the cows to worship. LOL.

On a side note how do you place your copywrite and name on your pictures? Seems like a lame question but I have not had much luck figuring it out.

LOL. thanks. the copyright is easy...just open the photo in photoshop, or any other editing tool you use, select the typing tool, and type your name. I use the Character map to get the Copyright symbol. Go to Start menu, programs, Accessories, System tools, Special Characters.

Flatten your image and save for web.

Hope that helps.

Hey Stephanie, sorry to hear about your bummer of a trip. :-( I've never been to Helen but I've heard it's kind of VERY touristy and like you said really only "Hoppin'" during Octoberfest... Where did you end up staying in Florida? Were you able to go through Savannah? Well, if you ever get the opportunity, give Georgia another chance. It's really not all bad. :-)

At least you were able to shoot a little. and I have to agree about the Cow landscape... good and humorous.

Another way to get the copywrite © is to hold down the alt key and type 0169.

Well...here's how the drive went....the road that we took down from Helen (129/GA-11) branched off south of Atlanta - If we took 441, it would have taken us to Savannah, but it would have taken 5 hours to get there. As it was, it took us 4 hours to get to 441 itself. Then from Savannah down to Boynton Beach, is another 8 hours. To make the trip worth it, we'd have had to spend qulity time that we didn't have there. Plus, it was raining all through out Georgia, so it just didn't seem worth it at all.

We stayed with our respective grandparents in Florida - quite fortuitous that they live near each other. My friends Grandfolks are in Boynton and Boca, and mine are in Boca and Coconut Creek - so we just relaxed for the 4 days there.

I would love to give Georgia another chance, but next time, I'll try for April/May instead of February. LOL.

And yes, Shutterfly. Alt+0169 works too - didn't know the combination off the top of my head.
