Warranty covers the item against a defect in manufacture and workmanship ..a fire is in no way covered.
Once the insurance companies sort it out, they technically own the inventory (they paid for it). They sometimes sell it back to the company or they sometimes sell it thru a liquidator to try and get some of their money back.
