Looks great!!! If there aren't any parts left then you didn't "improve the design"...
Now the real question.... Does it work?? ;-)

You bet it works. Every light, vent, switch, etc.
(wouldn't leave until it did either)
Have fun: Open each image so you have one in each browser window and then switch back & forth - I'm so easily amused - LOL |

That doesn't seem like a 4.5 hour job to me. I worked for Ford for three years, the dashes in the Explorers paid 7 hours WARRANTY to replace the blend door. Of course the older ones with the 5.0 were really tough as there isn't much room...but I know a couple guys who had them down to a science...anytime I got one, I'd pass it along to them because that was a moneymaker for them, but an all day thing for me.

Okay, the sarcasm has to bear it's ugly head, haha!
I have to go to work, and endure the un-counteless questions of people like your self.... I know it's difficult, yes.. and if anyone tries to reproduce this I will retain the Owners original proprietary rights, since I 'm publishing the notes under those rights...but if you see nothing for a short while... it means, the BS was held up in court, lol

I lived there from 1962-1966 in the Grand Saconnez area.
(19 Chemin du Pré-Carbeux to be exact).
My Dad was the Int'l service manager for Piper Aviation and I managed to see pretty much most of Europe too by the time I was 10 years old. We were dumped right into the Swiss school system and was a learn the language as you go kinda' thing. Good thing my 1st grade teacher spoke English.
Still remember my phone number, as it was the first phone number I ever memorized. To this day, I do not know it from memory in English, but have to mentally translate it: 34-95-19 LOL

LOL
MY dad was European manager for Convair, selling the 880 jetliner to the European market. I was there from 6th thru 9th grades, but I was enrolled in Ecole Internationale de Geneve, a private school that was both a boarding school (British-run) and serving the English-speaking diplomatic/business community. We lived at 15 Rue Michel Chauvet, in a modern apartment building fronting the Malagnou.
I can't rmember the phone number, since I couldn't use the phone. I was entolled in the Swiss Boy Scouts also. Now THAT was some paramilitary organization... We, too, traveled all over Europe. Small world, huh?

Basel, Switzerland 2000 - as soon as I can get us outta here
Our kids understand your feeling well, all four of them were dumped straight into the Swiss schooling system without knowing a word of German - doing well now though :)

Duct tape, the miracle tool! I never leave home without it.
Or, for a more aesthetic look, you might also get a marine upholstery shop to stitch you up a patch depending on how large the hole is. Should be less than 100USD. Marine upholsterers are the best because they always have extra canvas scraps from the boats they work on, and the zippers they are extra good because they are made to withstand all kinds of nasty weather conditions. |
