Moss for Napoleon Harris + Raiders 7th (overall) + later round pick.
(Harris any good?)
This is bitter-sweet for me.
(Minnesota Vikings are my team)

Yup... I am listening to ESPN radio here in NY and they are talking about it now.

| Hard to believe, but Randy "Moonman" Moss may actually represent a character upgrade for the local goon squad ... |

I have no idea ... if the guy stays healthy and off suspension he could score 15 times, or pull a hamstring again and score 3.
I think the Vikings get the #10 overall pick, and wide receiver is arguably the easiest position for which to find a reasonable replacement.
The Vikes will definitely have better "team spirit" and fewer distractions without him ... it's probably a wash as a trade, although when draft picks are involved, you can never know for sure until about four years after the last draft involved -- that third-rounder next year might be a Joe Montana. |
