This shot is not going into the challenge but I wanted to share it.
This is Robert's leopard gecko (Zap228) and the shot was taken at 1:1 magnification on the Sigma 105mm Macro. All comments are greatly appreciated!

looks really nice -- I'm especially impressed with the tones. I think a bit deeper DOF might improve it a touch. |

The detail on the skin is so interesting and I agree with increasing the DOF slightly. As it is now it is so shallow that rather than pull the eye to the lizards eye the blurry blobs distract you, Dont get me wrong I think the photo is great. I am just being as critical as possible to help you.
