We have a ban on the purple menace in our house.

I get to listen to George Carlin and Alec Baldwin narrating Thomas the Tank Engine videos.

The Wiggles over and over. Anyone living in Australia want to make a few quick bucks?

Wiggles are worse then Barney. I'd rather know my 2 year old grandson was watching Marilyn Manson videos.

In that case you are so ready to be a Parrot Head!

P.H., JR - currently listening to "God's own drunk". At work I just hit shuffle on the whole discography. But at home, it's nothing but Wiggles, Scooby Doo and more Scooby Doo.

BTW, Dave, I used to love your site soasoas.com. I think it was the first Buffett site I ever found on the web. I still drop by cobo.org now and then.

AGGGHHHH!!!!! You mentioned HeWhoMustNotBeNamed!!!!! We've told our daughter that if she is ever watching Barney we will not watch it with her. Right now I'm tired of PowerRangers. Katherine puts that in the DVD player on repeat and will sit for hours with the same disc.

I'm listening to Placebo

We have no stress with Barney etc, even though we have kids - the solution is simple - we have no TV reception :)

We have TV and if the Reception went we still have the DVD player, with a new DVD Shark Tails! Which was not bad at first, but I have seen it that much I know all the words to the movie!

If I had a penny for everytime I have to play, replay, play again the Wiggles while driving around town, well let's just say I'd be a very wealthy woman. I really must get around to thanking my husband for buying not 1 but 2 Wiggles cd.... what a guy :-I

As for the "B" word, I skip past that channel on the TV really fast, can't stand the poor little purple thing.

I have to be honest though - the lack of TV is not by choice :)

At any given moment, any one of These.
I work at home and have winamp on most of the time. Set to random!

I'm listening to music all the time, even if it isn't playing at the moment. Lately I'm revisiting Paul Simon's "Graceland" and it sounds better through time. Production is great!

I listen to every kind of music, from classical to flamenco, I'd say my faves are between Pink Floyd, Sting and The Police, Enya, Sade Adu... Ummm, I fall for The Lady!

This is probably not an original idea for a business, but it may be worth opening a franchise/store chain as follows:

The room would be cushioned, so people don't hurt themselves, and in the room we would place a two-meter Barney doll made of the same material they make those training sacks for boxers. For $5 you could buy yourself 10 minutes with Barney, bare knuckles. For $8, you would get a baseball bat (or a cricket bat, or a golf club, hockey stick, whatever your favourite sport happens to be). For $20/month, you get to come whenever you want and do whatever you please.

We can have those facilities conveniently located near the venues where we occasionaly take our kids to see live shows featuring above mentioned menace. For different parts of the world we could make different dolls, based on the surveys. Oooh, I'd be paying gladly.

And for those that think that not having TV is a solution, check out pbskids.org, or just get a CD - it is equally annoying.

And, to conclude...

I love you, you love me, we are happy family...

"You had to be there" is just an awesome live cd! This year I heard that buffett is laying Wrigley field on Labor day. It doesn't get any better than that!
BTW today I have kenny chesney "somewhere in the sun" going again. Anyone that loves Jimmy would LOVE that cd!

I listen to a bunch of different 'genres'

current favorites within a few of those?

Black/Death metal: Carcass, Cradle of Filth, Hypocrisy

Thrash/Speed metal: Overkill, Slayer, Cynic

Heavy Metal: Ozzy, Megadeth

Metal: Korn, Tool, Skid Row(old school)

Rock/Classic Rock: Scorpions(always!) Tom Petty, Sabbath, ZZ top.

Soft stuff: I like an occasional Shania Twain, Stevie Nicks or even DC Talk.

Thanks you, plz drive thru!

Love the Charlie Daniels Band,, havn't heard it in some time now.

I also love comedy artists.. Adam Sandler, David Allen Coe (Rodney Carrington?).

George Carlin's 'You're all Diseased' is a great (but vulgar and possibly offensive) stand-up disc.

Well, I think after the voters are through with my 70's challenge entry I'm going to go out and buy a bunch of Morrissey cd's and sit in my room and cry all day in the dark.
