Nice capture - how close were you? I just voted - you're at 3.17 currently.
I wonder how many other DPC members have got a POTD there. I got one a while back: POTW and POTD.
Andy Pollard got this one too.

About 30 meters away, handheld, with the Canon 70-200mm f/4 L. I took about 80 pictures from different angles, and got about 12 where he had the glint in the eye. I thought I was sneaking up on him at first, but after awhile I realized he just didn't care. |

| Last year I managed POTD, POTW and came in 2nd in the POTM (I think it was September) which had me pretty pleased for quite a long time. |

| I've recognized more than few names that have won POTD there. I think DPC members are well represented on that website. |

Thanks Skip. It's got some stiff competition in the weekly/monthly though. Nice shots there.
