Just some shots i thought i'd try in front of my cars headlights that i'd like to share.

Much more fun when you have someone to 'model' ...

Kevin. I enjoyed those night shots of yours. Shot Two looked a bit as though you were blasting clouds of icy air from the mouth.

Shot One, however, was much more provocative. The lighting is gentler, backlighting the smoker's head - with a tinge of red. Much more interesting.

And speaking of interesting - want to trade homes for 2 months? I would love to go back to the country of my heart! It's been way too long.

Americans who have never been out of our country would be stunned by the wealth of beauty on every road in Scotland. There's no "Exit here and go right for 8-1/2 miles to see something pretty." Sensory overload at its finest.

Now, Kevin, having said that - there are millions of scenery shots in Scotland. You develop your own talent in something unique.

Thanks for you reply Kathy,

I wouldn't mind trading homes for a few months, tiz rather cold here at the moment.. we both win!

I hang my head in shame as i've not really explored Scotland too much for it's beautiful nature, but like you say, it's everwhere! (i'm just used to it) I plan on taking a few trips in the warmer months to try capture some scenery to share.. hopefully i can do it justice!

As for the pics i prefer the second shot too, i like the play with the orange/red tinge from the smoke and his hair.. he prefers the other one though, so i posted both.

The second one has a good mood and gives me the impression of Sherlock Holmes (even though it's a cigarette and not a pipe). Well done.

It works better than the first as the bright area is not blown out.
