As you said later on, many entries were 'just a photo of a clock'. The challenge is, as it is every week, making your 'photo of whatever' more than just a 'photo of whatever' to the majority of the voters.

Hear hear to that bod.

For me, part of the challenge of photography is to make shots of whatever more than shots of whatever. Someone has a quote to that effect as their signature, but I don't remember who.
