This is the one I intended to enter but decided not to push the rules. I had done a lot of the things that comments did end up suggesting, but I didn't want to go too far with the editing. :)

Well, regardless, it was an image that I liked. Keep up the good work.

It is a very cool shot...I like the dark side type shots. Like you I played it safe as well. Would have like to gone this way with mine but the vignetting was man made.

Strange. I see a lot more background in your entry than I did last night. That'll teach me to vote at 2 in the morning!

Just improves an already very good image.

Julia --- I liked your original shot a lot! Although the other edit was an improvement, the first one is definitely beautiful :)

IMO they are both very good. I gave the entry a 10. I would give this one a 10 also. I think I like this one better though. And don't remove the freckles and stuff you don't like. To me it adds character.
