I was reflecting back on the past week. Since i got my Rebel i have been trying new things, meeting new people and thinking of ways to make $$ to buy more accessories sooner.

This past week, I have gotten some new extension tubes and have had to learn how to keep an EOS lens stopped open off camera.

These are before i got the sstopped open thing figured out...

Friday I got to shoot some at a coworker's studio. It is in a house they are remodeling into a studio, but for now they use it for fun and glamour shots. COLD! no heat in da house. So i did some shots with alien bees..fun and educational. kept it REAL simple this time.

Now it is Don't studio, and his friend John was there - they are RAW fanatics. So I tried RAW for the first time..(see above pics). FOr that I had to DL some software, try it, DL more and try that...and figure a workflow and learn what not to do as much as what to try first.

Having a need for funds, I began researching wedding photography - packages, costs, pricing, equipement..etc. Lots to learn there too.

Just to add some work to the fun, while talking photography at work, one youg woman asked if i could take some photos of her and a friend..senior graduating type shots i suppose...oh goodee, live models (that aren't my kids, see the pic above) These models might follow directions (if i have any to give...) and they probably expect results...

After having shot with strobes, I want to set up my 2 flashguns and see what they can do in my 'studio'.
And this past week i have read 2 photo magazines and 1 book.

My brain is melting! It cannot process all this new info all at once!
At least I don't feel guilty about not having an entry for Seperation!

So, what have you been up to?
