I know this bridge is such a cliche to photograph, but I still had to set up my tripod on a cold December night to capture it since I was an American tourist in London with a camera. Neither of these qualified for the Bridges II Challenge....so any feedback that you want to offer would be cool.

Thanks,
Mike

The Tower bridge is a classic, I like the 2nd one. Well done.

The Tower is really nice...perhaps rotate it slightly counter clockwise (make the tops horizontal).

Nice. I left you a couple of comments.

Both very nice... I'll leave comments on both in a moment.

Just out of curiosity, why couldn't you enter these? Lack of computer access?

He probably had no time to reshoot.

I took them two months ago... not during the challenge window.

Regarding the tower leaning.... it's the wide angle of the lens. the bridge deck and sidewalk are close to horizontal.

If anyone could give me some tips on manipulating the overexposed portion of the second one in photoshop, I would greatly appreciate it. I have never attempted to do that to any of my photos before. I do have the software... just not too experienced yet.

and I live in Los Angeles. I couldn't fly back to London just for the challenge :) Now wouldn't that be cool??? If you had enough disposable income to travel the world for DPchallenges. oh yeah...and if you didn't have to work :)

I like the second one. Very nice. I had same issue with this image. I took it a few weeks ago and couldn't return in time.

I love that bridge. It's on the cover of one of my structural engineering text books from college. Do you have any other shots of it? Excellent perspective on that shot!!!

Here are some of my pics I've taken of the Forth Bridges. Was going to submit the daytime one for the challenge, but decided against it and chose something else instead. Mistake methinks... Ho hum.

This one is interesting. Its a bit big as it's 3 images stitched together. The only thing with the rail bridge is there is always scaffolding for repairs.

Similar to one of Jamies.
I like your Road Bridge Streaks one the best.

Heres mine but it was one of my early ones and could be a lot better.
A bit grainy.

PS. Mines are fromt he north looking south. I think Jamies are opposite. HEHE
