I wonder whether this picture would do better than my submission in the bokeh challenge. Please comment.

No. It's so busy it hurts my eyes.

I don't know if the birds would score better, however here are my thoughts on that image.

The background to me is not out of focus enough and therefore is a major distraction. Opening up the lens one or two more stops would probably help with that but may render parts of the birds out of focus.

Thanks for the comments. Bear_music, my daughter said basically the same that it is difficult to look at the picture but actually I like the effect. Cpanaioti, I will visit the greenhouse with the birds next week and I will open the aperture to the maximum(F 4.0) since the picture was taken at F5.6, and I am going to try to retake the picture, it will be a good project for my D-a-P.
