Many of my friends and some of my coworkers have been asking for my photos. They want to make windows backgrounds or screen savers out of my photos. I don't mind doing that, but I am afraid that my work will get out there, and someone else may take credit for my photo. Any advice is welcomed.

Thank you

Just do some kind of watermark imbedding on the photo.

easiest thing to do would be to put your name on the photos, if you dont want it to be too noticeable, add it as a layer then play with the translucency.

I think you can in PS 7. in the filters tab there is a thing called digimark and you can "embed watermark"

i think you have to pay for that service.

i suggest putting your name in the bottom right or left corner, so that their taskbar covers it when they use it as a wallpaper but is generally easy to see when not used as a wallpaper

Filling out the file info section for you picture.
Watermarking. Register for //www.digimarc.com (Annual subscription rate)
Keep the images as small as possible.

If it's on the web they can steal it.

you can do it for free with a standalone PS7, it however seems to seriously degrade image quality.
