Has anyone tried Epson's standard Premium Gloss Photo Paper with this printer? I've noticed that Epson only list the Premium Semi Gloss but I'd like to try something a little more glossy! I know this can have a 'bronzing' effect but I'm interested in trying! Please share your thoughts! |

No worries cheekymunky! I've had fantastic prints on the Semi Gloss but want to try something a little more glossy! I'd nearly call the semi gloss a matte finish! But sheesh, does it look fantastic! :) |

I used to work at a technology specialist store and I used to get my inks and paper for nothing from our Epson rep! God I miss those days! :( I've got the A3 semi gloss! |

I use nothing but Premium Glossy (250). Never had the slightest bronzing effect. I'm printing from the 7600 with Ultra-chrome and I'm sure the 2200 has the same ink system.

Thanks for that nsbca7. I'm just trying some samples out now. I'm fairly happy with the results. Do you find them as moisture resistant and light fast as premium semi gloss? |

Check the stats at out at Wilhelm Imageing.
I never have had a problem. I spray a very light coat of Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Acrylic Coating on my show prints to help protect them and to cut down on glare.

Do you have a brand name for the Clear Acrylic Coating you use? (Or is Krylon the manufacturer?)
Krylon spelling corrected!
