A lot of participants here at DPchallenge are active in their communities. In the US, April is National Volunteer Month. Make this an open challenge to maximize participation. Your challenge: Volunteer for something, Submit a picture, vote as usual, give something back to your community. Think about this while you're at it.

There are literally thousands of organizations that take volunteers. Any of them would be happy to have a helping hand. They also have newsletters and publications that your photos might be submitted to. A great oppurtunity and a win/win situation if I ever saw one. Choose something and give some time.

There are over 400 entries in the Bridges II challenge, what if we had that sort of participation in our communities?
