By the way. The camera will have a transplant next week.
I'am changing the CCD for 60$US, here in China. I will squize everything out of it. It will produce stock inages and bring me money.
I was tempted by a fuji 5100 at 300$US...or the dear Panasonic Z20(450$ +512SD card+extra battery+case)
But neh...
I decided no matter what: Save for a dSLR!!!

I just read on an A series forum that canon has admited this is a problem and they are fixing them free of charge. They are sending out postage paid lables to send them in for repair. Its a CCD problem or somthing.

There was another person i remember who started a post similar to this but she took some pictures of people that had a scary purple outline that looked like it was dripping off the peoples face. Really bizzare images.

I cant find the post now i wanted to tell her to send her camera in and get it fixed for free. Seems the whole A series and a few other upper end models have this issue and are also covered.
