Took this of Adam while he is watching his big brother play the xbox - used the 50mm F1.8 lens, set at 2.8 and ISO of 400, used neat image .. what do you think...

The NeatImage has taken away all the texture. Too heavy handed on the NeatImage for my tastes.
Has a good range through the greys though and good focus.

nice tones ... the dark areas under his eyes are an easy fix if photoshop with the band-aid lookin' tool thing :) as is, he looks very tired
and i'll agree with the others, little too much neatimage |

I have seen a lot worse, I personally like it.
Maybe use NI on a duplicate layer then reduce the opacity of that layer until you reach the result you want?
Love the eyes,I would clone out the sweat under his nose,or whatever :)
Nice work,
Paul.

It's a nice shot except there's too much NI, he looks like he's molded out of plastic.

It's a nice shot of your nephew, but it has an overall very grey hue..as in, not a lot of contrast. I actually, in this case, don't mind the NI as much and I usually hate it. |

Am I seeing things or does he need to blow his nose?
