I have finally figured out why my challange submissions always score in the range of 4 - according to rules voters are requested to give commentray when a pictute scores a 1, 2 or 3. I suspect ya'll are just too lazy to to comment and therefore opt to go high on my pics.

Welcome, Mike.
I think you're giving out too much credit by saying that voters will comment on a score of 3 or less! That they don't is a perpetrual complaint, the rules notwithstanding :-0
As for your question in the other thread, people "BUMP" up a thread when it hasn't had any replies for awhile and fades from view on the DPC main page. |

You have a 20D? How do you like it? I'm holding out for another year till they hit the 10 megapixel level, myself. Still, while at the camera store I covet the 20D.

Yes, I and 455 other DPC'ers (and rising fast). It's absolutely awesome. The autofocus is unbelievably fast (at least when paired with Canon L lenses :) and I enjoy having the 8+ mp to play with. I've found the learning curve to be very reasonable, great flexibility and easy to use. No comparison to the Sony Mavica-CD I upgraded from. Good luck in your waiting game for the 10mp camera. |
