If any one is consdering a holiday down this way, PM me and I can set up some Intro ductions to PSNZ photographers who can take you where the tourist dont go , There are some amazing places down here.

PSNZ= Photography Society of NZ?

Are you a member Nick? I've been thinking of joining the local club to get affiliation, but I've heard some scary things about them... (More interested in old photos than taking new ones...)

And, more on topic: I can help out with some interesting destinations off the beaten track in the South Island as well...

Hi CHris THe photographic Society is quite forward looking, the current President,John Boyd is a great Guy. I find membership worthwhile.I have been a member for many years.

some circles in print and slide are now fully subscribed as are others , this is due to a big increase in menbers. I reccomend joining. BTW John Boyd came up specially from wellington to give myself and my friend advise on out Honour Portfolios,. I am applying for the LPSNZ and Dot is doing the Associate. There is a large number also who are into digital imaging and there are circles for this now as well.

You can join PSNZ with out being in a photographic club.

Ahhhh! This being a great gem of information!

I had thought you needed to be a member of an affiliated club. I'll have to have another look at their site...

Thanks for the info, I was shying away from it as I found via a current member that if I joined the local club I'd be the one digital voice.
