DDYJR, you can see a photo of me in my profile. So, worse comes to worse, we'll meet at 4:30pm on the corner of Hollywood & Highland under the Metro sign. Look for the people with cameras!!!

Forecasters are rarely right, so lets all hope it doesn't rain on Sunday. They said it would rain today and it's sunny. I just got my battery grip, it's so fun to use. I'll get my new backpack Friday so I can carry all my junk including tripod as well. Arie, are you going to bring gels? or are you saving it for another time.

| Even thou I did not go to your last big get together if some of you recall I sung a rain song and mysteriously the rain went away acording to some of the posts I read. It's pooring rain here in the bay area. Oh well here it goes... "Rain, Rain, Go away, Come back again some other day".... Did that work? If not rain always makes for some interesting night shooting in big city enviornments. |

See, sunny again despite what those silly weather folks say. I guess no one can really tell the future. I heard the rain is moving north to the Bay area, ha ha. You don't have to be a registered member to join in. Last outing, I wasn't even a registered user and was warmly welcomed. It should be fun. With so many photogs, I wonder if the tourists will think there is a celebrety or an event going on. Oh well, everyone is a star in Hollywood as they say.

Another option might be custom camera straps...
See THIS THREAD on Photography on the Net where they are able to get customized straps at a pretty good price! We could see about getting some LADPC straps!

Maybe we can contact Canon and try to get some corporate or a group discount. I just bought a new Tamron Boomerang strap after the LA trip for better comfort, so I'd like something else with "LADPC" logo on it, like a long sleeve Golf shirt??? or one of those vests???
BTW, the new digital Rebel XT is out, damn it's nice...

Yido how could you laugh at such a horific calamity at the rain moving into the Bay area after all the singing I've been doing for you guys down there. (remember my rain song worked last time.) Either way you owe me a cup of coffee for sending the rain up here. HEHE

Sure, least I can do for your drive down from the Bay area. Just don't drink the coffee on the way back though, otherwise you'll have to make a few pit stops.
BTW, are you in the Bay area and planning to drive down?

Ahem!.. not all of us have Canon's :p. But yea i like the idea of having LADPC gear :(If we could get it in the LAPD font it'll look official) ^.^ and Don Keep doing your special dance so the rain will stay at the dock of the bay.

Yeah, yeah, it's not like Canon or Nikon would give us lowly people any discounts anyway. Don't we need a permission to copy the dpchallenge logo??? After that you can go to any place that makes custom graphics and have them copy it from a computer/internet to shirts or what ever they want. Maybe this is a way for this sight to make some dough. Selling T shirts, golf shirts, Camera straps, etc. Hey, if this idea takes off, I want a commission. But I'd still like a nice long sleeve golf shirt that we can wear.

I'm just saying is all. we don't have to use DPC if they dont let us, it was be nice to use where me meet as advertisement*hint hint to any mods reading ^.^* but anything would be fine. That would be interesting thing to see a spawn of DPC gear.
