I'd like to thank those of you who commented on my Road Signs entry.
I have only been doing this seriously for a couple of months and have learned so much from this website and its members. Heres the same image after I read some of the comments


What do you think!

sorry, not sure how to minimize the images.

Hi,
I like the desaturated version because the blue around the tree's at the sky level is a bit distracting to me with the sky blown out. So I say #2 is better. But both are good. Did you up the blue saturation in your original photograph?

EDIT: To put thumb nail pictures in your post go to the icons at top and click on the 5th one. All you have to enter is the photograph #. Then when people click on it, it will go to the large version.

#2 definately brings more focus to the road sign...definately would have done a bit better in the challenge.

As for the linking to your picture, just get the image number ( ID ) and:

yes. increased the blue and cyan slightly. Just learning tools of the trade (photoshop) so I can only get better from here.
