I'm starting to do some photos to sell and are 2 things that bothering my unexperienced mind:
1) Monitor calibration: should I ask in the laboratory that I send my photos their calibrations file (I've read about this some time ago) to calibrate my monitor and photoshop in order that the colors I see in the monitor are the same that are printed?
2) Shall I work in RGB or in SMYK? Is it the same from the lab prespective?
Hope someone could put some linght in the subject.

I'll study the idea. But is it worth it?

If you are producing prints (vs printing snapshots) that you sell or really need to "get right", YES.
Calibration makes all the difference in the world when it comes to subtle color differences in inks and shadow/highlight detail. It's the little things that benefit the most, and those little things together go a long way.
I would KILL for a Linux compatible spyder (or a stock market run that would let me buy a Mac!). I've been giving myself headaches trying to "get it right" manually and it's a huge time sink.
