How about a warmer and more encompasing theme of simply home?
(or simply home)

What a nice idea. Actually, I like the idea both of "Unique Homes" and the simple "Home" idea.

Good Idea, something like this?

I live in an area that is awash in development - hundreds of expansive new homes going up, all essentially the same, all lacking real individuality or soul.
Thusly, I think we should do a "Little Houses of Tikki-Tacky" theme.

NOOOO, not mine and really don't think I would even want one that big and definitely would not spend that kind of money for one. Give me a simple, modest, and cozy home and I'm happy. |

We called this the pink monstrosity when we lived near it, as did all the other neighbors. It towers above the house right below it and was build after, the people who lived below it moved out soon after this was build. |

That looks plenty sharp to me, I don't think it needs to be any sharper.
Nice photo BTW
How about adjusting the perspective a bit?

Yep. I posted some photos HERE from our GTG. I am deeply indebted to Brad for the whirlwind photo safari of the San Diego area- at one point he was literally driving on the sidewalk to get to the next location. Whatta' great guy! It was awesome to shoot side by side with one of the top DPC photographers (or at least I think those were his words). ;-)
I have a new appreciation for the quality of photos Brad has been able to coax from his old Olympus, an appreciation that is completely offset by the overwhelming number of fantastic photo opportunities in the area. When Brad finally gets a 20D I might as well find a new hobby. Maybe auto repair?
