Have recently starting shooting in raw mode and after submitting my first challenge entry using it I noticed the f number was missing from the exif data! Is this nornal? am I missing something? have I drunk too much tonight? will it soon be christmas? should I go to bed?

Never had this problem with my 10D and I would imagine 300D has the same RAW format.

It's there for my 300D. I would guess what you are seeing would depend on what program you are using to view the EXIF data. What are you using?

Using ExifReader, can see all info on jpegs, oh, and the shutter speed was missing as well? Is it within the unknown data? and what would that do to my submission if it needed validating?
