Buy some LARGE white plastic trash bags and keep them in your camera bag. When you're out shooting, you can: Use them to keep your camera dry during a sudden rainstorm. Turn them into an impromptu poncho. Put them on the ground to kneel on while you try for that perfect macro. Soften direct light by placing between light sources and subjects. Place them to reflect light onto a subject that's too dark. I'm sure y'all can add some additional uses.

Use them as a temporary white backdrop (using shallow DOF to throw details out of focus).

Use them to collect all the empty chocolate bar wrappers you're creating (it's brain food, no really :)
