Well, that's an interesting title...

For the arty stuff.. I was on a bike rally this weekend, and shot this when leaving, I though it had a really 'Mad Max' feel to it.

And these two earlier during the rally...

Oh, and then we come to the party bit:

And last, but definately not least, the 20th Birthday..

My restored Yamaha FJ1200 turned 20 years old a couple of weeks ago, and although there's not many original Yamaha bits left inside the engine it's still an FJ through and through. The photo is taken in front of an old building in Central Otago. Probably circa 1840-1860 during the gold rush. The most recent signs of occupation is a paper dated 1958 stapled to an interior wall.

Yes, I'm biker. And if you are, or would like to be; No, you can't see the 'other' photos from the rally, that would break the TOS of the site! :-).

I sorta wish I took the 20D with me instead of the coolpix 2500, but it was 41 Degree's C on Saturday, and not really photo taking weather!

A damn fine weekend... Hope you all had a good one as well.

Cheers, Chris H.

Nice ones Chris!

I agree with the first one...great capture.

To me, this is what photography is all about, a record of events...that memory jerking shot, whether technically correct or not. It's all about capturing that moment in time.

Well Done, and happy birthday to FJ.

I dunno, I think there's still some coming your way, it's stunning down here this morning, so someone must be getting wet... :-)

I agree, but you'd better watch out, the noise free, sharp as a tack crowd on this site might hear you...

I had an FJ1200, and it was one of the best bikes I have ever owned.

Great shots, looks like you had a blast !
