My company had a huge 3 day seminar here in Atlanta last week and I got to go- they even put us up in the hotel and everything! I went both as an employee and as the unofficial official photographer. I asked if I could shoot during the seminar, and it got to the point during the seminar itself that the heads of the company were asking me to please take certain photographs. In case I haven't mentioned it, I work for Clear Channel, the largest radio company in the country. The seminar was on "selling with sound". We were surprised with a little live entertainment on the second day of the seminar, a performance by American Idol runner up Diana Degarmo. I have never watched the show and had never heard of her, but she can sing like blazes and I had a GREAT time shooting her. Voila, my first ever concert shots! I got a bunch of good ones, but these are my faves:

For age 16 at the time of the competition, what a voice. I think she will stay around a while. Great pictures!

| Yes, she was great during the show--my kids got me into watching it. Great shots as well. The second one especially--perfect moment, you can hear her singing ;) |

Andi, these are fantastic, esp. against the black bg. Nice clear shots, good comp., and even some catchlights in her eyes. Good work!
