Hi all,
I'm beginning to get the feeling that my DVD drive is nearing the end of its life. It doesnt always read disks, and it feels like when it does, its very slow. I've only had it for three years, so I am kinda surprised to see it age so quickly. My warrenty is almost up, but before I make a fuss I want to make sure that its not just me becomming really impatient, or that its just a software issue.

Are there any kind of test out there to check up on the life of my disk drive?
