Feb 2nd - 9 am:
I get a message from my friend, that he had just spent $70 on this teddy bear that was in the news for his girlfriend. It was getting coverage because it was a "crazy for you" teddy bear that wears a straight jacket and comes with certification papers and stuff from the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. Big fuss from the governer and everything saying it wasn't sensitive to people with psychological problems.

I make fun of him, saying that he got suckered into a marketing ploy.

Feb 3rd - 11:30 am:
I get another message from him saying that the bear arrived that morning and that the company had decided to pull the product off the shelves that day because of public pressure.

Feb 4th - 1pm:
The bears are selling on ebay for $300 - $400!
Now my friend is making fun of me!

And that's one more weekin the life of this crazy, hilarious republic of the people called the USA...
