Ha ha ha! I was attempting to take photos of myself, very hard! I was trying for a dramatic dark look. I dont think it worked out well. I did not realize how hard it was to set the timer, and pose yourself. Please take a look at my pics and tell me what I could have done to improve the pictures! (And no wise cracks like take a photo of someone else :-)~

You got some nice photos there. The bright background is a bit distracting, but I like the lighting on you.

Hmmm. Maybe rotate yourself around so that the window light is coming in from the side, not behind you. From behind it can fool the camera and darken the exposure. Maybe place the window in front of you for front light or to the side for side light.

i would get that window out of backround. use the light as fill on the dark side or from behind as a modeling light, but it can't be visible in the frame. If you can get a remote cable tha helps alot in self portraits, and if your camera has a port they can be made rather simply if you have skills in that direction.
