Yellow Everyone!

Hope all is doing well!
I was wondering if anyone had a hit on a good, FREE, cms software to use on small to maderate websites.
The ease of the user interface is a must.
thanks in advance!

phpNuke is the first one that springs to mind. It seems to be the most popular, though opinions on how good/secure it is are divided. nukeCops is a good resource to go along with it.

One I've never used in anger, but have had stashed in my bookmarks for a while is phpWebsite. It looks a lot less gimmicky than phpNuke - try the demo.

If they don't appeal here's a big ol' list for you to plough through : )
