And found this. Must have taken it when I was 14 or so, it's of my nephew.

I'm working on a family picture project so have boxes of old pictures/albums/negatives that I'm wading through, it's loads of fun :)

I just love the softness of it. Really engaging tones. I like it lots! I hope you have lots of fun going through all those photos. Keep sharing!

ohh how cool is that. I'm glad I started so young, hopefully someday I can look back and say "I took this when i was only 14"

I think this photo states my case well that some people are born with an eye for composition.

I completly agree, and so do all my teachers at school. I was labeled as one of them...heh sounds so great but sometimes I think it's not all that great.

*Big Blush* thank you all so much! The crazy thing for me and that photo is that now that nephew is at University LOL.

I would really like to be more active with current pictures, but finding time to take pictures for the challenges is "challenging" with a 5 month old ;-). I'm looking forward to entering one sometime soon and I'm saving my pennies to upgrade to a DSLR. I do like my sony though.

I also have been scanning and color correcting old school photos which have turned orange etc. I'm having a very hard time with that and end up turning most of them b/w. Any suggestions?
