Here are two shots I took in Florida in December 2004. Egrets are not native to my usual stomping grounds, and the names I have labelled them with are tentative at best.

If there are any birders out there who can help me establish a positive id, please come forward.

Hi!

The first one is a snowy egret, and the second one is a great egret. You can tell from the colors of the bills and (on the snowy) from the bright orange feet. I adore egrets.

Thanks, M. You seem to agree with waterlilies. I couln't find a Cattle Egret on the site you linked to, but thank you for your help.
