A number of people donĂ¢€™t know that they need to check this box and so we have ended up with a lot of links that canĂ¢€™t be clicked. Someone normally comes in later and re-posts the link, but if the Automatically parse URLs box was check by default we could avoid a lot of this.

In fact it is pretty rare that you would really not want the URL to be an active link, maybe just make is so that all URLs are parsed?
